Art & Environment Publishing in MagazinesThis half-day workshop hosted by Art Monthly editor Maurice O’Riordan will look at ways to optimise your potential for art magazine publication along with other print and online publishing avenues. With a focus on ‘green’ arts writing - broadly, writing on art that relates to environmentalism / ecological and cultural sustainability / climate change / conservation - the workshop will demystify key aspects of the writing, pitching and editing processes. Requirements: Professional writing experience isn’t necessary however participants are encouraged to send relevant draft material to Maurice O’Riordan by Friday June 19, for comment and preparation leading into the workshop: email: art.monthly@anu.edu.au Otherwise, bring along draft material, pen and paper for some hands-on writing during the workshop.
